The Strange Case of Vic Taylor

‘The Strange Case of Vic Taylor’ is a 2D platformer by CyberMonke, based on the Robert Louis Stevenson novel “Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.” This game was made during the Global Game Jam 2022 and based on the theme “Duality.” The game was intended to be a game where the player would make dialogue choices that would affect the level the player could play on. However, due to the 48-hour timeframe, we decided to change this concept into a simple 2d platformer and give the player a binary “cruelty or kindness” option.
